No matter what sport he competed in, he always had greatest interest when it came to martial arts and this led him to try Karate and later finding kickboxing and Muay Thai.
Tyrell’s love for the martial arts inspired him to complete a Bachelor in Health Science (Sports & Exercise) followed by a Master of Exercise Physiology at the University of Sydney.
With a mindset of always being a student and being open to learning new things, Tyrell pushed further into learning various striking disciplines and has now become a student of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to further his knowledge.
