Matt’s been a physio for over 20 years. In his earlier career, he was involved with the NRL (Eels, Sharks) and NBL (Razorbacks) as team physiotherapist, then close to a decade ago, Matt turned his focus to his personal sporting passion – golf.
Being a competitive golfer himself, Matt has an intimate understanding of the game, it’s challenges and the physical and mental requirements needed to unlock a players full potential.
Through association with Golf Australia, Golf NSW and Jack Newton Junior Golf, Matt has been an integral part in engineering three of the last four number one Australian amateur golfers. Not limited to high performance golf, Matt takes great pleasure helping players of all ages and abilities, to play more, play pain free and play at improved levels.
Now undertaking various research projects, Matt is leading the way in improving golf performance and reducing injury.
In short, Matt has the knowhow to help golfers become better athletes and achieve their goals, working effectively as part of their team, alongside coaches, parents, managers and other influences to get results.
